AML Policy

CRYPTOiAM strictly applies International Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Laws and Regulations.

Pursuant to these laws the Company applies certain Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.

At the registration process each client provides personal information such as full given name, date of birth, and contact details (phone number and email) as well as country of origin.

In addition to the above CRYPTOiAM KYC requirements require each client to provide a valid Proof of Identity and Valid Proof of Address as follows:

  1. Valid Proof of Identity

Clear and colour copy of one of the following:

  1. Passport; or
  2. National Identity Card; or
  • Drivers License; or

  1. Valid Proof of Address

Clear and colour copy, not older than 3 months from the date of filing, of one of the following:

  1. Bank Statement; or
  2. Utility Bill; or
  • Governmental Tax Bill and/or Receipt

In case were the client is a Legal Entity, full set of Corporate Documents (memorandum and articles of association as well as certificates of: incorporation, shareholders, directors and secretary, registered address and good standing) are also requested. In addition, KYC Documents as per points 1 and 2 above are requested for each Director and Shareholder with a shareholding of over 25%. A power of attorney authorising the Director of the Legal Entity carrying out interaction with CRYPTOiAM is also requested.

Deposits and Withdrawals:

 

Each client depositing funds must sign a Declaration of Deposit.

Furthermore, the name and details of the deposit method used, be that via Debit/Credit card or wire transfer must be the same as the account holder.

All withdrawals requests are processed and executed to the same deposit method used by the client and if that is not possible to a bank account indicated by the client provided it is possible to verify the identity of the account holder and that the client is also the account holder.
